CJ is the Assistant Dean of Enrollment responsible for the admission process at KVCC. He received his BS in Sports Marketing Management and a Master's Degree from Thomas College in Waterville. He has worked in higher education at both Thomas College and now at KVCC for the past 14 years, and feels affordability is important to think about when choosing a school.

"It is no secret that the cost of education is increasing BUT not at KVCC.  We offer the lowest tuition in the entire New England area.  Whether you are planning to complete a degree, transfer to a 4 year college or university, or begin with just a few classes - KVCC is a college option that must be considered!"

Carrie Dionne
Enrollment Navigator

Carrie received her BS in Child Development and Family Relations at UMaine and is currently working to complete her Masters in Adult Education at the University of Southern Maine.  Carrie has also earned the Global Career Development Facilitator Certification.  She has been at KVCC for the past 4 years working in Student Affairs.  Prior to this, Carrie worked at a local high school and spent over 10 years with the Job Corps Training Program.

Why KVCC?  "It's all about the people!  I enjoy the students I meet and get to work with each day.  I enjoy listening to their goals, helping create a plan to achieve those goals, and then congratulating each student when the goal is accomplished!"

Teresa Smith
Director of Advising and Enrollment
(207) 453-5082
tsmith@kvcc.me.edu

Teresa is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington (BS in Secondary Education) and the University of Maine (Masters of Counselor Education).  She has worked at KVCC for 23 years in Student Affairs.  Teresa enjoys knowing that the work she does has a positive impact.

"For 23 years, I have been privileged to be part of our students' journeys as they pursue an education for a wide variety of reasons.  I like that KVCC is small and that I get a chance to really know many of our students.  When I see how hard they work for themselves, their families and their friends, it is humbling and inspiring.  Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?"

Gail has worked for the College for the past 30 years.  She is a graduate of Winslow High School and has also taken classes at KVCC in Business Management. When asked why she chose KVCC to take classes and work...

"It's a great opportunity for a quality education at an affordable price."
