Ways to Support Students

Ways to Support Students: Your support will make a difference!

Making a charitable gift to Kennebec Valley Community College is an important and very personal decision. The satisfaction of giving comes in knowing that an investment is being made in the lives of students who benefit each day from KVCC’s excellent educational opportunities. Each giving opportunity provides a lasting benefit in helping students realize their career and educational dreams and in strengthening our region’s workforce and community

Establish a Scholarship: Scholarships open the door the college for many students who may have otherwise been unable to enroll in college. Scholarships can be established with a one-time gift, through a scheduled annual contribution, or with a gift of $10,000 or greater to form an endowed scholarship fund. Endowed scholarships create a perpetual scholarship Fund at KVCC, ensuring support for students now and in the future. Scholarship founders may establish the scholarship name and criteria for award.

Make a Scholarship Gift: Scholarship contributions may be made to any existing scholarship fund to expand opportunities for student awards. Scholarships make a difference in ensuring that students have access to education and persist in their studies.

Power of Education: A Campaign for an Electrical Lineworker Program Facility: The KVCC Electrical Lineworker Program began in 1991 and has served as the only lineworker training facility in New England, and one of few nationwide. The current Program is spread across the current Fairfield campus, classrooms are crowded; time is lost to travel between classroom, lab, and garage; students must currently drive utility trucks through the busy heart of campus to get to their field site; and current storage facilities are inadequate and subject to theft and security risk. The Project is vital to significantly improving safety, security, and comprehensive learning for students. Click To View Pledge Form

Support the Foundation's Annual Fund: The Foundation's Planning Committee establishes yearly goals and student support priorities. Unrestricted contributions will be used to provide student support services and resources that are most needed at the time of the gift.

Planned Giving: Planned giving offers numerous benefits to students and donors. Contributions may be tailored to meet specific long term interests. Bequeathed gifts ensure that students will be supported in the future without affecting current donor assets.
