At Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC), we believe that careful academic advising is essential for a successful educational experience. The advising staff at KVCC are happy to assist students if for some reason their assigned faculty advisor is unavailable.

Advising Center Vision:  The Advising Center aspires to be a source of support and resource for students as they progress through their educational journey at KVCC and beyond.  The Center aims to educate and empower students to be active and responsive learners in their educational, career, and personal pursuits.  The Center also intends to be a resource and support department for all faculty and staff.

Advising Center Mission: Academic advising is a collaborative process of educational exploration, evaluation, clarification, and support. The Advising Center’s mission is to educate students on program requirements, policies, procedures, and support services, as well as assist in the educational and goal planning process.  The Advising Center also provides support to faculty and staff in their efforts to advise and educate students.
