Here are the questions we get most here at the Lunder Library:


Yes. There are two ways to access the library’s digital collections from off campus:

1. Go to: Portal > “Academics” tab > “Library Research” on left

2. From library homepage > Click FIND

NOTE: Second option requires login to portal!

The Minerva catalog lists the library collection.

From library homepage > Select FIND > Log into portal if necessary > Under Books & Videos/Library Catalogs choose “KVCC” > Search

Click on titles to view availability and call number (location).

Yes, through the library’s interlibrary loan service.

Go to the Minerva catalog (see instructions above) > Set search location box (left of search button) to ALL MINERVA LOCATIONS > Conduct search > Select item > Open selected title > Click “Request” button (2nd from left in long row near top) > Follow screen instructions to complete the request.

You’ll receive an email notice when the item arrives.

General visitor parking is in the Eustis lot – travelling south on Mayflower Hill Drive, the Eustis lot will be on your right, near the bottom of a long hill.

A database is simply a digital library. It can be a collection of magazine articles, ebooks, videos, images – you name it! The library purchases these resources specifically for the KVCC community, which is why password access is required.

Yes. The librarians will work with you by phone, email, or in person. You may also use NoodleBib, a citation management tool available through the library.

Yes!

1. The library subscribes to Films on Demand, a streaming media service offering 8,000+ educational programs from producers like A&E, History Channel, Nova, and National Geographic (requires high speed internet).

2. The library also has a DVD collection of many educational and feature films available for checkout.

Search Films on Demand for psychology topics – Try ProQuest Newspapers for sociology class – Ebrary, an ebook collection, covers practically everything, including rare diseases… perfect for bio assignments – OTA & PTA students will appreciate EBSCO’s Rehab Reference Center.
