KVCC Foundation Scholarship Application – Class of 2025

Application Deadline – May 1, 2025

Seven $1000 scholarships will be awarded, one to a student at each of the area high schools or CTE listed below. Winners will be notified at their school’s awards ceremony.

To be eligible, students must:

Be a graduating senior from Lawrence High School, Messalonskee High School, Winslow High School, Waterville Senior High School, Skowhegan Area High School, Somerset Career & Technical Center, and Mid-Maine Technical Center.
Be accepted to an academic program of study at Kennebec Valley Community College.
Demonstrate financial need.
Have at least a B average or equivalent in high school, and
Participate in community service.

To receive the award:

Students must provide evidence of having successfully completed the first semester (minimum 9 credit hours) in good standing (passing grade in all subjects).
Students must provide evidence of enrollment at KVCC (minimum 9 credit hours) for a second semester.
